This products is a larger variant of the Swedish crayfish. It is an extra large crayfish sorted and sold as a more exclusive choice to get the greatest experience in enjoying this seasonal shellfish. 

Our crayfish from Vättern, the second biggest lake in Sweden. They are cooked with dill salt and beer. Perfect for a shellfish evening with friends they are the perfect choice.

These crustaceans are wonderful in taste, thanks to our extensive use of dill, perfectly balanced with added salt and dark beer. To enjoy these crayfish, peel them and eat all the meat from the tail to the claws and the rich taste of the "crayfish-butter" in the head.

The crayfish are the centerpiece for the seasonal event of "Kräftskiva" in Sweden, an old tradition of gathering neighbours, family and friends to enjoy an evening with great food and drinks (crayfish and cheese pie with drinks and spirits) 

They are peeled by hand with concentration to reach all of the fine meat. Using a cracker for the claws makes it easier to access the claw meat.

Our secret to always providing the finest crayfish lies in our sorting at the fish market and our family’s special cooking method and recipe. This cooking technique is only applied to high-quality crayfish. The crayfish we provide are available from august to the end of September each year.
